Remy Mohamed works for the Greater London Authority as Grenfell Inquiry Coordination Officer. Prior to this she worked for the independent charity INQUEST. This role involves working with bereaved families and survivors, keeping a watching brief on the public Inquiry and coordinating meetings with lawyers representing families. Remy delivered a Tedx talk titled “Dignity and Defiance after Disaster” which was based on Grenfell.

Prior to working in the third sector, she spent 13 years working as a Duty Solicitor practicing criminal defence law in legal aid high street firms and representing vulnerable adults and children.
Remy is a firm believer in access to justice and the importance of legal aid. She has campaigned against legal aid cuts.

Remy volunteers for a number of community outreach projects and charities. In her spare time, she loves travelling and watching sport.
