AML is dedicated to providing a continuing education programme and to providing its members with the opportunity to learn more about different areas of law and Islamic law issues, including seminars concerned with a comparative study of how English and Islamic Law deal with particular issues in different fields. Recent talks have included one on the significance for British Muslims of the incorporation of the European Convention on Human Rights in UK domestic law, and one on which legal structure is best suited for Islamic charities.
